What will North Carolina’s economy look like after COVID-19 and how will our community colleges fit into the recovery efforts? This topic will be featured in the Opening General Session of the NCACCT Virtual Leadership Seminar as leaders of the NC Chamber, the Economic Development Partnership of NC, and the NC Rural Center discuss how our state can regain its economic vitality after the pandemic. Join other Trustees and Presidents from across the state in this virtual training opportunity, which will also feature New Trustee Orientation and sessions for reappointed trustees. The Virtual Seminar will include LIVE presentations and opportunities for interaction with the speakers and with other attendees.
Attendance at this seminar will count as meeting the requirements for new and reappointed trustee training (NC General Statute requires all new and reappointed trustees to receive training from NCACCT within six months of appointment). Plus, attendees will have the option of participating in state-mandated ethics training (The State Government Ethics Act requires all public servants, including trustees, to attend an ethics session within six months of assuming their positions).
Your college has been notified that registration is open. Please let your President or President’s Assistant know if you would like to attend, and they will complete the registration process for you.
